Character and Ethics

1. "The best of you are those with the best character." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

2. "Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well, you will treat them well, and that if they do wrong, you will do wrong. Instead, accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong if they do evil." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

3. "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

4. "Kindness is a mark of faith, and whoever has no kindness has no faith." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

5. "The strong person is not the one who can wrestle someone down, but the strong person is the one who can control himself when he is angry." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

6. "The most complete gift of God is a life based on knowledge, and the most complete knowledge is the knowledge of one’s self." - Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)

7. "Speak good or remain silent." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

8. "Your remedy is within you, but you do not sense it. Your sickness is from you, but you do not perceive it." - Imam Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)

9. "He who has a thousand friends has not a friend to spare, and he who has one enemy will meet him everywhere." - Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)

10. "Verily, your Lord is of tender mercy and Most Merciful." - Quran (Surah Al-A'raf, 7:56)

11. "The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

12. "Whoever is kind, Allah will be kind to him; therefore be kind to man on the earth. He Who is in heaven will show mercy on you." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

13. "Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

14. "The one who helps a fellow Muslim in need, Allah will help them in this world and the Hereafter." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

15. "Do not let your hatred of a people incite you to aggression." - Quran (Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:2)

16. "A person's true wealth is the good they do in this world." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

17. "A good word is charity." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

18. "The best among you is the one who doesn't harm others with their tongue and hands." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

19. "He who does not have forbearance, nothing else will be of any use to him." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

20. "When a person repents, Allah accepts their repentance." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

21. "To forgive is the highest, most beautiful form of love. In return, you will receive untold peace and happiness." - Sheikh Abu Bakr Shatri

22. "Actions are but by intention, and every man shall have only that which he intended." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

23. "The best way to defeat someone is to beat them at politeness." - Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)

24. "Do not wrong and do not be wronged." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

25. "The reward for an evil is an evil like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation, his reward is [due] from Allah." - Quran (Surah Ash-Shura, 42:40)

26. "Let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them." - Quran (Surah Al-Hujurat, 49:11)

27. "Allah does not look at your appearances or your possessions, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

28. "Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

29. "The best of you are those who are best to their families." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

30. "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger." - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

31. "O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them." - Quran (Surah Al-Hujurat, 49:11)

32. "The tongue is very small and light, but it can take you to the greatest heights and it can put you in the lowest depths." - Imam Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)

33. "Good actions are a guard against the blows of adversity." - Imam Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)

34. "O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you." - Quran (Surah Al-Hujurat, 49:13)

45. "If the heart becomes hardened, the eyes become dry."

46. "The QURAN is for ourselves, not for our shelves."

47. "Hard times will always be there, but so will ALLAH's help."

48. "Rather than stressing about things we cannot control, pray to the one in control and find relief."

49. "Worries end when Salah begins."

50. "The shortest distance between a problem and its solution is the distance between your knees and the floor."

Prayer and Worship
